New rescue from the shelters, to help you get a better understanding of some of their past experiences. ​I am here to help identify some of the reasons these behaviors may be happening and help you set up the best plan for rehabilitation.

Obedience Level #1 Three Lessons 55min
Looking for some direction? Your dog knows some basics but you want to keep learning? 
Covered curriculum: name recognition, sit, down, stand, stay, eye contact, fetch.
If you have a reactive, aggressive or newly adopted dog you will need to get a Behavioral Assessment done first.
Obedience Level 2 Three Lessons 55min
(prerequisite level 1)
Walking nicely on leash, greeting politely, leave it, drop it, heel walking introduction.
Obedience Level #3 Three Lessons 55min
(prerequisite level 2)
Stay adding duration, heel, recall, bed/place, hold down cue, emergency recall, how to let your dog greet other dogs while on leash properly. 

In Home Training within 50km of DDZ - lesson 55min
We offer in home training as well, customized for your personal needs. Please contact us for a millage quote. If you have a puppy, adolescent or adult dog these lessons are great to cover more in less time. Offered to residence within 50km of Muirkirk, ON.

Private Lesson 55min
Private lessons to focus on any bad manners or additional training in any category. We can add structure to your routine, review what is going on with the poor habits or simply work on some specialty tricks.

​​Trick Training Three Lessons 55min,  four levels  
We are an approved Instructor and evaluator with Do More With Your Dogs in the United States and help you train your dog to pass their Novice, Intermediate, Advance, Expert and Champion Trick titles that are also recognized by CKC (Canadian Kennel Club).

Agility Three Lessons 55min, 1 week apart
We only offer a limited amount of classes. We run levels one to three for agility classes. They only need to be able to perform basic sit, down, stay and crate willingly. 
Puppies as young as 8 months can attend level one agility foundation and introductory class however the jumps have no bars and there is no introduction to the teeter or dog walk due to underdeveloped joints. 
Prerequisite to attend any agility class: any intact female in heat must wear a diaper, any male that marks must wear a belly band, no dog aggressive dogs, no excessive barkers, no dogs with fleas in the last month, no prong collars/choke chains/shock collars.

Puppy Lessons 55min, 1 week apart
You will learn how to train a new puppy all over again or maybe it's your very first puppy. Science has shown Positive Reinforcement is the best way to train! Everything from new associations to building a healthy relationship together, we are here to help guide you every step of the way. How to play and train together, teach fun tricks, learn how to avoid misunderstandings between dog and human, practice a healthy socializing system and prevent anxiety. There are so many behaviors you can prevent by knowing what to do prior to them starting. 

​​Animal Actor Training Four Lessons 55min
​(prerequisite level 1,2,3 & 4 Trick Training)
We are an approved Animal Actor Instructor and evaluator with Do More With Your Dogs and will help you train your dog to pass their Animal Actor Card title. You can either earn your Photoshoot, Film, Actor or Leading role title depending on the confidence and desire to perform in public spaces.
